Hotel construction and renovation are among the most attractive investments. Over the last 5 years, 35 hotels were built and renovated in Moscow. Investors plan to build several more dozen hotels in the city in the next three years.

There was an average of five bidders per bidding lot and the final bidders paid an average of 40% more than the starting price. Applications are currently being accepted for 383 non-residential sites. In 2016, the city plans to put up for bidding 300 sites each measuring up to 150 square metres.

The draft plan provides for construction of a multi-purpose hotel and business, culture and leisure complex covering an area of 775,800 sq.m.
